- Description: The Azure Blue maxi length skirt is made with heavy dupion and is lined with silk blue dupion. The skirt includes a waistband, a 35cm zipper and the slit of is draped into pleats. The waist measures 65cm and the length of the dress is 105cm, making it suitable for sizes extra-small. The skit is slightly gathered by the waistline and is sawn into six panels. Did you know ? 'In dupion silk the warp (the length of the fabric) uses a high quality silk yarn, however, the weft (the width of the fabric) uses yarn that is drawn from entangled cocoons. Due to this, the fabric has a unique texture formed by the slubs in the yarn used in the weft of the fabric. The slubs are caused by the inconsistencies in the silk yarn, which give the fabric its distinctive texture.
